Tower Bridge and the Shard

As part of the TWT programme stemming from the talk on Architecture and the built environment we will take a walk along the Thames covering locations around Tower bridge. The focus will be on using the bridges of the Thames as the key locations but you are free to shoot any type of image you wish. We will cover sunset, the blue hour and into the evening sky. A detailed itinerary will be emailed to participants before the walk with final locations chosen to ensure scaffolding free images!

Meeting place will be Fishermonger's Hall wharf on the north west side of London Bridge. (51.50908, -0.088001). This is within easy walking distance of Cannon St, Monument and London Bridge tube stations. You are encouraged to use public transport to get to the start as there is no easy parking and we will be moving around.

Accessibility

We will start on Fishmonger's Hall wharf and then move east to photograph Tower Bridge before working our way back to the Millennium bridge. The total walking distance will be about 2.5 miles and involve some stairs.
