Commencing at the National Lobster Hatchery, South Key, Padstow, PL28 8BL, the walk continues along the Camel Trail for approximately 2 hours, heading towards Wadebridge. The walk follows the path of old railway adjacent to the Camel River.

There will be opportunities for both landscape and wildlife photography.

Walk Directions

The walk commences at the National Lobster Hatchery, South Quay, Padstow PL28 8BL.

From there we will commence the walk along the Camel Trail for approximately 2 hours, heading in an easterly direction towards Wadebridge.

Accessibility

The Camel Trail (formally the Bodmin to Padstow railway) is a level, well maintained path that also accommodates cyclists.

Toilet facilities are available at South Key as is Pay and Display car parking.

It is intended to be a gentle walk.
