Six Wren Parish Churches in The City of London.
This walk is full, it will also be run on 23 June, book here.
Let’s explore the delightful small and sometimes forgotten Parish churches rebuilt by Sir Christopher Wren (Team) after the Great Fire of London of 1666.
We will take a stroll around a small section of the City and visit about six Churches, from St Mary-le-Bow (of Bow Bells) to The Peace Garden within the ruins of St Dunstan-in-the-East.
We start outside Cannon Street Station at 11am. EC4N 6AP.
For those that wish we can enjoy Coffee and Cake at our second stop, actually within St Mary Aldermary.
We finish the walk near Tower Hill.
Please Note: Some of the planned venues may not be open on the day of our visit due to Services or events such as weddings.
Many venues do not permit the use of Tripods. These are all working places worship and many people visit for prayer or a quite space, so please be respectful when you visit. You may wish to make a donation during your visit to help these venues to continue to open, many are reliant on unpaid volunteers.
