Join RPS East Midlands TWT for a unique photographic visit to Elsham Hall, a stunning country garden and park nestled in the Lincolnshire countryside. With its beautiful gardens, tranquil lakes, and free-roaming wildlife, this is a rare opportunity to explore and create creative photography in a historic setting. The Hall itself, and the wedding garden is out of bounds to all.

Elsham Hall does not usually permit group photography visits, but they have made a special exception for us — let’s ensure we leave a positive impression of the Royal Photographic Society and its members!

What to Expect

🌿Creative Photography in the Gardens – Capture the ever-changing beauty of Elsham Hall’s walled gardens, pathways, and lakeside views. From delicate spring blossoms to textured tree bark and reflections on the water, inspiration is everywhere. Be mindful near the lakes, as there are no fences.

📸A Photographic Session with Olivia and Josh – We hope to arrange a special photography session in the lambing shed, offering the chance to capture intimate moments of care and connection with the lambs. (The photograph above is of Olivia and Alfie).

Please note that pregnant visitors should avoid the lambing shed for health reasons, and all participants must practice good hygiene before and after entry.

🦆 Wildlife and Free-Roaming Animals – Observe and photograph the estate’s resident animals in a natural setting. Do not feed or disturb them and remain respectful of their space.

🚶‍♂️A Gentle Walk in Nature – The grounds are mostly flat, but some areas may become muddy after rain—wear suitable footwear. There are seats available to rest on.

☔Be Prepared for the Weather – Shelter is limited, so dress appropriately, and bring waterproofs if needed.
