A walk through Walsall Arboretum established in 1874 - now over 150 years old. The Victorian park features many species of mature trees and shrubs, two lakes and a bandstand.
Photograph opportunities include vistas across the lakes, through the trees and numerous water birds . In addition there are opportunities for macro photography of mature shrubs some of which will hopefully be in flower.
The walks are on tarmac pathways round the lakes and through the trees. The maximum distance travelled will be 2 miles. Sturdy, comfortable footwear is advised.
