Capacity

A visit to Maspie Den & Waterfall is a lovely woodland walk. It is a stunning trail through Falkland Estate with mature trees and well-made paths. We will follow the Maspie Burn up the steep-sided den to the dramatic waterfalls. Take in the bright top view before returning through the shady forest, ending at the Stables Cafe for a quick catch-up. We will be walking on narrow, earthy, and rocky paths with muddy sections, which can be unsuitable for those with limited mobility. The trail is steep in a few sections, with many steps and bridges. The entire walk is 2.2km. Please wear walking shoes suitable for muddy tracks and uneven surfaces. Please use an appropriate bag to carry equipment for inclement weather.
