Seacliff Beach is a private beach just over 4 miles east of North Berwick. This is a scenic beach with views of Bass Rock & Tantallon Castle. The walk is timed so that there is also the opportunity to visit the nearby Bridge to Nowhere at Dunbar later for sunset at high tide. We will aim to finish by 19:30.

Walk Directions
From North Berwick follow the signs from the town centre to Tantallon. Continue past the castle and the road takes a sharp left bend. Shortly after this it takes another sharp bend to the right but you instead carry on straight ahead down the small private road. Continue past the small house on the left and you will see a gate with an automated barrier where you pay £3 in coins for entry. Follow the track to the second car park at the far end of the beach where there are also toilets.
Accessibility
The access road after the barrier is in generally good condition. The beach access from the second car park is straightforward.
