Participants will be able to choose to explore the beach area, or follow the coastal path towards Castle point. Most people will probably walk no more than 2 miles, although options for extending the walk exist. We will start when the tide is fairly low giving opportunities to create images reflecting the mud for which the Solway is known, high tide will be around 2pm so providing opportunities for water movement. There are also suitable spots for ICM.
Waterproof boots would be advisable.
There is a café near the meeting point, but only sells tea and cake and has no indoor cover.

Accessibility
The first part of the path is tarmac, but participants are likely to want to move onto rocks or beach
