An opportunity to get sunrise images at a very well know location in East Anglia at Southwold Pier in Suffolk. Sunrise is at 07.28hrs. The Pier is located at the meeting point therefore walking distance is minimal. If going onto the beach good footwear will be required as the beach is sandy. Very good photo opportunities can be taken along the promenade if accessibility is an issue. There will be a chance to walk along the beachfront if so desired.

Meet at the Pier at 6.30am onwards. There is a Pay and Display Car Park located at 27 North Parade, Southwold IP18 6LT which is right by the pier.
Accessibility
You can stay at the Pier area which gives lots of photo opportunities. The promenade is wheelchair accessible. The beach is sandy and is accessed via steps, some of which are steep and sandy and possibly wet. Good footwear essential. If standing near the shore, you will need footwear that can withstand seawater. Those wishing to explore further can go either North or South from the Pier and walk along the beachfront.
