Maybe one of the most overlooked seaside locations in Wales with fabulous estuarine, coastal and clifftop views. The coastal walk takes in the imposing ruins of Llansteffan Castle with panoramic views over the broad sand-flats of the Tywi estuary to the distant views of the Gower Peninsula. The expansive sands, foreshore and rock pools offer possibilities for minimalist and abstract images along with the sand and seascapes.

We will meet near to Florries Fish & Chips at the Beach Car Park also known as the Castle Car Park. The Car park is free - note that there are 2 car parks so follow the road to the large tarmac car park at the end of the road to the beach.
The car park is next to the beach, to fully take part you will need to walk on soft sand. The Wales Coast path and Castle view point is accessed via steps from the beach or along uneven ground in parts from the village.
