Join us for an enchanting afternoon of tea and photography at the Grand Western Canal in Tiverton. We will start with introductions and lunch at the tea room, then head up to the canal to begin our walk.
The horse drawn barge will be leaving the canal basin around 2:15 pm, its round trip is just over 2 hours and with a steady walking speed you can keep pace with the barge.

The walk is all level and swaps between open areas and areas covered by trees providing shade and interesting reflections in the water. There is lots of wildlife for those who have the patience to spot and photograph the various fauna, the horse tugging the boat, and the dog who goes on top of the boat as lookout!

There is plenty of parking at the Canal Basin, public toilets, and the tearoom will be open until 4pm.
