Old Market, Beccles

Beccles is a market town on the Norfolk/Suffolk border and features a variety of streets, buildings, and architecture, including St Michael the Archangel church with its separate bell tower that dates from the 16th Century. The River Waveney flows next to the town and The Waveney House Hotel sits next to the river along with residential buildings and Beccles Lido.
You will be able to explore the town and have many opportunities for images.

Once we have met up you can explore the town on your own or with others in the group. We will meet up at a local coffee shop for a cuppa and snack around 12pm. You will then be able to carry on exploring should you wish.

Beccles Town

Walk Directions

We will meet at Roy's of Beccles Car Park - it is a Pay and Display car park. There are areas of the car park that are free for up to 2 hours if you don't wish to stay too long. Beccles has a railway station and bus routes from Norwich and Lowestoft.

Accessibility

Most of the walk will be on pavements – watch out for kerbs and cars - both moving and parked. There are also some areas that are accessible via steps.
