Christchurch Priory has a wealth of stained glass including the west and east ends. The ceiling vaulting to the Great Quire is impressive as are the 39 misericords which are in surprisingly good condition and several are accessible to photograph.
Tripods are not allowed but the Priory, having large windows to the Great Quire, is not as dark as many churches.
The Priory Tea Rooms serve snacks and light lunches. There are also toilet facilities.
The area around the Priory includes the Bandstand in the Harbour area, the Town Bridge, ruins of the Constable House, the Castle and a small part of a former Mausoleum.
