This walk will feature two journeys through time.
Starting in the afternoon we will photograph during daylight, taking in the 19th century Venetian-Palazzo style Albert Dock, the early 20th century Edwardian Baroque "Three Graces" and the striking 21st century structures at Mann Island.
As the daylight fades the waterfront transforms into a spectacle of lights and you will be able to revisit your favourite spots for photography during the blue hour which, with its cross-over lighting, can give stunning results.
The event will finish around 7pm or once the last light in the sky has faded. If the weather is damp you may wish to stay longer to take advantage of the beauty of the wet surfaces at night.

Please meet me inside the atrium outside the Open Eye gallery at Mann Island.
To find this, exit the Merseyrail station in James Street and turn right. Walk down hill towards the waterfront, cross the big main road (Strand St.) and continue past the redbrick pumping station. The Open Eye gallery will be on your left.
For anyone who arrives early, there are several cafes and restaurants nearby. There are (free) toilets inside the (free) Museum of Liverpool.
Surfaces are a mixture of paved and cobbles. There are no steps that can't be avoided. There will be about 2-3 miles walking.
Unless the majority of the group prefers to do the follow up by zoom, we will meet in a suitable central Liverpool venue such as a gallery or museum cafe. The feasibility of this, and choice of venue, will depend on the size of the group.
