A Short walk from Vauxhall to the recently refurbished Battersea Power Station.
Apart from the Power Station itself, there are many interesting examples of modern architecture., which include:
- Vauxhall Bus Station
- The modern buildings recentlky built around Vauxhall
- US Embassy, with the nearby High level Swimming Pool
- Battersea Power Station, which has recently been reopened and the surrounding developments.
There are many ways of getting to/from the two ends.
PLEASE NOTE.
Battersea Power Station requires Public Liability Insurance if you want to use a tripod, and do not recommend their use on a weekend anyway, so best not to bring one!

We will meet at the Pret a Manger, at the bottom of Vauxhall Bridge, ready to leave by 10:30.
It is a short walk to Battersea Power Station (about 1 mile), but we will explore the area via the 'back streets', before reaching Battersea Power Station, which has many places to eat as well as to photograph.
I will provide rough maps on the day, but some flexibility will be needed.
It is about a mile as the crow flies, all on the flat, so should be OK for most people. Battersea Power Station is wheelchair friendly.
We can decide on the day, whether we wish to discuss over zoom, or in a suitable common location.
