The main features are the D-Day remains including the D-Day Dolphins and the numerous groins. The Isle of Wight is visible weather permitting. There is also the Coast Guard Watch House to the West of the car park. The beach is sand and shingle. Food and drinks are available at the Lookout café. See the Hampshire County Council website, for further information https://www.hants.gov.uk/thingstodo/countryparks/lepe/visit. There are also numerous images on the internet showing some of the photo opportunities.

The date and timing is aimed at around the Spring Tide high water.

This is not a guided walk so you will be free to choose where you explore in the area for photo opportunities.

The post code may be for the Coast Guard Cottage along the road from the park entrance.  Meet in front of the Outlook café. See link above.

Accessibility

The D-Day remains are about half a mile from the car parks and accessible via a path from the upper car park or along the beach. The far end of the path is soft sand and sand and shingle. Probably difficult for a wheel chair. The Outlook café has wheel chair access.
