Entry to the Outwoods

The Outwoods is 110 acres of ancient woodland to the south of Loughborough and is one of the oldest surviving woodland sites in Charnwood. The Outwoods consists of a variety of different routes and walks, including an easy access path. We'll take a slow walk through the woods with plenty of time to stop and make the images of your choice. There is an excellent Cafe on site where we can stop for lunch and discuss our images and ideas.

You can see more here https://www.charnwood.gov.uk/files/documents/outwoods_leaflet/Outwoods%20leaflet.pdf

Walk Directions

The site is only really accessible by car, however there is plenty of parking. The car park costs £2 for the whole day, we will meet at the under cover area next to the cafe on site and then head off into the woods where people can either walk together or head off at their own pace. There are opportunities for all types of photography

Located on Woodhouse Lane, Woodhouse Eaves, LE11 3YG

Accessibility

Pathways are good but uneven in some areas and can get very wet, there is also quite a steep climb as you head back to the car park.
