the main avenue leading up to the pavilion cafe in Bedford Park

Bedford Park and Foster Hill Cemetery are located on the west side of Bedford with the cemetery located on the side of one of the few hills in the area.

Both opened in the mid 1800's and have been in use since providing a mix of formal gardens with water features in the park and wild flowers in the cemetery.

The paths are paved with the opportunity to venture of the paths if desired so comfortable footwear is a must, neither the park or the cemetery is very large and it is possible to walk round both in an hour (without Photo stops).

there is also a cafe in the park which serves hot and cold meals.
